The Latimers started
singing Southern Gospel music as a family trio in 1990. The
ministry of this trio has grown into a full-time calling on their
lives. They take their ministry very seriously and don't go
anywhere to entertain, but to share the Word of God through the
songs they sing and to see lost souls come to know the Jesus they
serve. This trio has a strong, life-long background in the
local New Testament Church; thus, the majority of their ministry is
directed toward the church. They made a commitment to God
twelve
years ago to take the Word of God, through music, anywhere He opened
the door. During the service you will laugh a little, cry a
little and hopefully go away blessed and uplifted by the Spirit of
God that these folks bring with them to the church. |

PETE LATIMER:
Born and raised in Forth Worth, Texas,
Pete Latimer has sung Gospel music all
of his life. The son of a
Baptist preacher, Pete has a strong
commitment to the church. A
retired carpenter by trade, Pete
spends most of his time managing and
promoting the group. Pete is
also the spiritual leader of the
group, keeping everyone in the
group on track for the purpose they
were called. |

SHELLY
LATIMER:
Shelly
Latimer was born in Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma but moved to Texas in 1976.
Spending most of her life soloing in
church, she also has a strong church
background. Shelly provides a
strong lead and alto voice for the
group. She was voted FEMALE
VOCALIST OF THE YEAR for the
Fellowship of Christian Music in 2001.
Shelly is currently an office manager
for State Farm Insurance. |

KELLY TOWNSEND:
Kelly Townsend makes her home in Edgewood, Texas where she has lived
since she was seven years old. She has two sons, Jeriod and Joshua
Townsend. Saved at a young age, she too has a strong church
background. Grandma sang, mother and dad sang, and it was only
natural that Kelly would follow suit. The Latimers is her first
experience in a traveling group. Being in God's Will is her main
focus in life. Kelly works in the banking field when she is not
singing. |
